HELLOOO long time no talk, I’m sorry for being the worst at sharing my photo journeys, I’ll definitely get better since I feel like I have so much more to show you guys than what is shown on Instagram, so a lot of photos are kept secret even though there’s nothing I’d rather do than sharing them with you. That’s after all what I do this for – to show you my view of the world through my lens out there. As the title might suggest I have a photo diary of my vacay in Mykonos up for you. I took quite a lot of photos in Mykonos and will share with you my favourite places I visited during my stay. When searching for hotels at the location you’re visiting, it can sometimes be overwhelming with the many choices, but no worries, I’ve done my research and think that I can show some good suggestions on this matter. I will as usual just let the pictures speak for themselves, since this is how I book stays myself.
This trip was all about relaxing (and getting a tan – thanks to my little sis). Even though Mykonos is known for being a party island, we wanted to indulge in the peacefulness the island has to offer, so we kept sober and only took a few sips when it was offered at the hotels as a welcoming gesture. Well, the Rocabella was so serviceminded and didn’t leave a desire to be desired for long, it was always thought of ahead of time and offered to us in the most thoughtful ways possible. We checked in at Rocabella and got the most beautiful welcome with bubbles and a tour of the hotel by the friendliest staffs. We also had to choose our desired smell for the room for their evening surprise, where we chose lemongrass.
After lying by the pool waiting for our room to be ready (we got there a little early) we were shown to our suite with private plunge pool and a terrace with sun-beds overlooking the beautiful ocean. In the room we were greeted with a huge fruit platter and cold cold champagne which was indeed needed after the tanning session. In the room we were also given a bag that had a Rocabella beach towel and a canvas beach bag as well as a cute Rocabella mug, of course at this moment I was totally excited. I love surprises and gifts that makes me feel welcomed and appreciated as a guest. Later on we enjoyed a beautiful 5 course menu at the Reeza Rocabella Restaurant where we sat in their comfy hanging chairs enjoying one of my favourite dishes from our stay in Mykonos.
After our filling and delicious fusion dinner we took a stroll in the sunset down to the beach nearby. When we got back we entered a room that smelt heavenly of lemongrass and on the bedside table there was another bottle of bubbles as well as some delicious cookies. These are the small details that made my day. THANK YOU ROCABELLA Hotel Mykonos for making our stay so perfect.
xx Mowoblog over and out
Fact: I am such a sucker for beautiful hotels and this is definitely one of my guilty pleasures. I can spend hours and hours looking at hotels and this is one of my most favourite parts of traveling – discovering new hotels!
Applause to the Rocabella Mykonos for making our stay the most memorable
