Whenever I think of baby blue I think of spring. Unfortunately we’re not quite there yet in Denmark even though the calendar may suggest otherwise. During the holidays it’s been extremely cold so I had to find a way to keep warm. Usually I’m a sucker for subtle tones but over the past couple of months I’ve been adding more and more colors to my everyday wear, which is actually a pretty big step for me. I’ve noticed that lately I’ve been more drawn to more colourful – still subtle – tones such as baby blue and dusty pink, so I’m gradually building up to go full-on summer mode.
This outfit consists of a totally oversized baby alpaca cardigan, some ripped jeans, a casual t-shirt and my eye-catching new Shoe the Bear baby blues boat shoes which are kind of raw in their design yet still feminine. I’ve actually come to love these shoes a lot and consequently I have been wearing them all the time during this long weekend. They look amazing on my foot and the comfort and fit is top notch. I feel like comfort in footwear has been something I’ve been neglecting lately. It’s been almost impossible for me to find shoes that actually feel good and are not hurting my feet whilst having a great design, so this was a pleasant surprise. They’re easy to wear and can fit any outfit. During some online shopping I realized that Shoe the Bear is quite widespread – I’ve actually been eyeing some of their winter boots earlier without noticing that the brand is Aarhus based. What are the odds!? Tiny world. It’s not often I stumble upon brands that are based in my hometown so I was very excited when I discovered that.
