On a Monday afternoon in mid October, we checked into Royal Mansour, a luxury hotel so magical and special I had to pinch myself to realize that it was real. An easily accessible palatial, hidden behind a dramatic ancient wall, amongst tropical wilderness such as palm trees and citrus trees.
is the truest contemporary take on luxury I?ve ever experienced. The exquisite details such as the mosaic tiling, sumptuous chandeliers greets you upon arrival at the courtyard while candles keeps you enchanted when wandering down the medina walkways. Every detail in its architecture and interior refers back to the city outside this oasis. One would deftly feel like a princess here from the moment of stepping inside this hypnotic accommodation.

We arrived to our riad, no we didn’t get a hotel room, a suite or something in that matter, we got ourselves a three stories traditional Moroccan house. Some riads grants amazing view over Marrakech, looking out across palm trees. I woke up early every morning to watch the sun rise over the roof tops of Marrakech from the warm, coziness of our private plunge pool on our rooftop terrace; as evening fell we would enjoy some girly cocktails and saunter out on the patio.
Inside and out, Royal Mansour reflects an intense dedication to design and Moroccan ambiance is always celebrated. At night the sky is a pinwheel of stars, and cleverly every room?s private terrace is equipped with fireplaces for roasting marshmallows and soaking in the sublime stillness. Royal Mansour is a monument to breath in culture, a total cultivation escape.
